Auslan Anywhere: Dwayne’s Story
Your support of The Deaf Lottery allows our Deaf Services team to bring Auslan (Australian Sign Langauge) teaching to where it’s needed most. Recently we bought Auslan to the team…
Dwayne is a member of the mighty Curra Swans AFL club in Townsville, and we were thrilled to be able to teach Auslan to his teammates through our Auslan at Home service. In this way, Dwayne and his teammates are now able to communicate better on and off the field.
Imagine if we were able to connect even more Deaf children to their community in a way that meant the most to each child? Every extra ticket you purchase could mean the world to more than one person.
