Deaf Lottery 227 is authorised under the following licence and/or permit numbers:

Deaf Lottery is permitted to sell up to 2,500,000 tickets in this lottery, commencing 15 December 2025. Deaf Lottery is in aid of the charitable services of Deaf Services Limited trading as Deaf Connect (ABN 62 118 664 298) operations throughout Australia.

Results

The 1st Prize winner is contacted by their supplied phone number(s) and email or mail. All Prize winners are notified in writing within 7 days of the draw via email or mail. Results are published online on the Winners page at www.deaflottery.com.au by 6:00pm AEST 05/02/26. Results are also published on 12/02/26 in The Advertiser.

General Lottery and Entry Conditions

  • Tickets AUD $2 each.
  • $2 tickets not available at some venues.
  • Tickets sold online in books of $2, $10, $20, $30, $50, $60, $80, $100, $150, $200, $300, $500, $1,000, $1,500 and $2,000.
  • A ticket that has been drawn will be re-entered into the Draw and is eligible to be drawn again.
  • Entrants agree to the publication of their ticket number, suburb, state, and postcode in the event of a winning ticket.
  • Cheque, money order and credit card payments must be received by close date to be entered into L227. If payment is not received prior to the close date, you may be issued with tickets in the next lottery.
  • Only payments for tickets in the current lottery will be accepted. Pay-in-Advance orders are not accepted.
  • Entries are open to people who are 18 years of age or older who are not ineligible for entry. The following persons are ineligible for entry:
    a) A member of Deaf Connect management committee including Deaf Connect board and executive management;
    b) Deaf Connect employees;
    c) all other parties (their employees or agents) associated with access to data in connection with the administration of the Draw; and
    d) immediate family members of persons identified in paragraph (a) & (b), including: spouses; de facto spouses; parents; siblings, half-siblings; and children.
  • It is the responsibility of all entrants of the lottery to ensure they are eligible under all applicable laws to accept the prizes offered as a part of the Draw.
  • Lottery tickets are not tax deductible.

First Prize (Total Prize Value: $1,000,000)

The First Prize must be taken as any combination of new motor vehicles, motorhomes, marine craft, caravans/campers, motorbikes, travel vouchers, home construction, renovation, or improvement services (minimum spend of $30,000), up to $950,000 in Gold Bullion and up to $20,000 in Cash*, up to a total value of $1,000,000. Gold bullion and cash value dependent on how much winner chooses to spend of winnings over initial $30,000 minimum deposit.

  • First Prize choice must be decided within 10 days of winner claiming prize.
  • Providers of the prize option/s will be selected by agreement between the first prize winner and Deaf Connect, from a reputable dealer/business, and is subject to their terms and conditions.
  • Travel is in the form of a voucher or store credit and is not redeemable for cash.
  • Where selected Prize is a motor vehicle/bike, motorhome, marine craft or caravans/campers, it must be new and valued at retail cost.
  • Where selected Prize is property, all costs relating to transfer of the title are included in the Prize value
  • Images used to convey this Prize choice are indicative only and actual deliverables should be confirmed in writing with the selected provider prior to agreeing to payment of the Prize.
  • All Prizes are paid by Deaf Lottery. None of the providers featured as options for this Prize are Promoters of this competition.
  • The $1,000,000 1st Prize package includes a $30,000 minimum spend with the selected provider and up to $950,000 Gold Bullion and up to $20,000 Cash*. Gold and Cash value is dependent on how much the winner wishes to spend of their winnings over the initial $30,000 minimum deposit.

Book Buyers Bonus Prize

Where the first prize winning ticket was purchased in a book of tickets, or multiple books in the same transaction and in the same name/s, the first prize winner will also win the corresponding book buyer’s prize. Book Buyer Bonus Prize details:

  • $100 or more Book - $30,000 Gold Bullion
  • $50 Book - $20,000 Gold Bullion
  • $30 Book - $10,000 Gold Bullion
  • $20 Book - $5,000 Gold Bullion

$10k BONUS PRIZE DRAW 1:

$10k Bonus Prize Draw 1 - 1x $10,000 Cash* Prize. To enter, order $10 or more in consecutive tickets before 11:59pm AEST 31/12/25. Tickets purchased through an existing VIP Club membership of $10 or more will be automatically entered into the $10k Bonus Prize Draw 1 and be eligible to win as per the VIP Supporter Draw eligibility below. Drawn 05/02/26.

$10k BONUS PRIZE DRAW 2:

$10k Bonus Prize Draw 2 - 1x $10,000 Cash* Prize. To enter, order $10 or more in consecutive tickets before 11:59pm AEST 15/01/26. Tickets purchased through an existing VIP Club membership of $10 or more will be automatically entered into the $10k Bonus Prize Draw 2 draw and be eligible to win as per the VIP Supporter Draw eligibility below. Drawn 05/02/26.

VIP Supporter Draws

  • Order five (5) or more tickets in an automatic, recurring purchase order to be eligible for the VIP draws. Excludes Purchases made via Oz Lotteries.
  • Your VIP membership must have commenced before the closing date for that relevant draw and be a current and financial VIP membership at time of the draw.
  • Current and financial VIPs are active (not paused, cancelled or set to skip one or more scheduled payments) with the last recurring automatic VIP purchase successful. Charges that are pending or declined are not financial.
  • Additional purchases of standard (non-recurring) tickets are not eligible entries in VIP supporter draws.
  • From Deaf Lottery 210 forward, all new VIP memberships will be processed as a monthly subscription, all existing VIP memberships prior to Deaf Lottery 210 will be processed as a single autoplay each lottery, until otherwise determined.
  • All draws are conducted at Level 5/88 Tribune Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101 or remote subject to business requirements.
  • Winners are advised via their nominated email address and/or mail after the Draw.
  • *Where Prizes are Cash or Gift Card, Victorian residents receive a Woolworths WISH Gift Card for Prizes under $5,000, and Gold Bullion for Prizes worth $5,000 and over.

WEEKLY VIP DRAWS
5x $1,000 Gift Cards* Drawn Weekly (total value $35,000)
The number of entries allocated for each of the Weekly VIP prize draws will be determined by the most recently paid eligible recurring automatic ticket purchase at the date of the close of the relevant Weekly VIP draw.

VIP Switch Promotion
Win $1,000 cash*. To qualify, switch from an active existing Autoplay (automatic tickets issued once per lottery) VIP membership of $10 or more in each lottery to an active ongoing Subscription (automatic tickets issued once per month) VIP membership of the same or greater value, between 01/12/25 (12:00am AEST) and 21/12/25 (11:59pm AEST). Entry is only eligible to supporters who request to switch from an existing Autoplay VIP membership to a Subscription VIP membership via phone or email and excludes new automatic ongoing Subscription VIP memberships purchased via the Deaf Lottery website or Agents. Each eligible customer will receive one entry for the draw. The relevant subscription VIP membership must still be active (i.e. not paused or cancelled) at the time of the draw to be eligible to win. Winner will be drawn electronically 24/12/25 (10:00am AEST) and notified by email. * Victorian Residents receive a Woolworths WISH eGift Card valued at $1,000. Refer-a-Friend Promotion

  1. Promotion Overview
    The Refer-a-Friend Promotional Draw (“Promotion”) is conducted by the Deaf Lottery (“The Promoter”). By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Refer a friend for a chance for you and them to win $1,000* Cash each.
  2. Eligibility
    2.1 Referrer Eligibility
    To be eligible for entry into the Promotion as a Referrer, participants must:
    a) Have a valid, paid purchase of $10 or more in tickets in Deaf Lottery 227; and
    b) Use the unique referral link emailed to them when referring a friend.
    2.2 Referred Friend Eligibility
    A Referred Friend is eligible only if:
    a) They are a new purchaser of Deaf Lottery tickets and create a new Deaf Lottery online account at the time of purchase;
    b) They complete a qualifying purchase of 5 or more consecutive tickets (valued at $10 or more) in Deaf Lottery 227;
    c) Their purchase is made via the Referrer’s unique referral link;
    d) Their purchase occurs between 15 December 2025 at 00:00am AEST and 1 February 2026 at 11:59pm AEST (“Promotional Period”).
    Both the Referrer and Referred Friend must meet the respective eligibility criteria to be eligible to win the prizes.
  3. How to Enter
    An eligible Referrer should refer a friend via the unique referral link. Each Referred Friend who creates a new Deaf Lottery account and makes a qualifying purchase via the referral link receives one entry into the Promotion draw.
    Where a Referred Friend purchases through more than one referral link during the Promotion Period, the first qualifying purchase will be used in identifying the relevant Referrer for the purpose of awarding the prize.
    Purchases made outside the link, made before/after the Promotional Period or through a previously existing Deaf Lottery account do not count as qualifying purchases.
  4. Draw and Prize Details
    • The Promotional Draw will take place on 5 February 2026 after the Deaf Lottery 227 Major Draw at 10:00am AEST
    • One Referred Friend will be drawn as the provisional winner. If both the Referred Friend and Referrer have met the eligibility criteria above, they will each win $1,000 ($2,000 in total). Otherwise, the Promotion will be re-drawn to find an eligible winner.
    • *Victorian residents receive a Woolworths WISH Gift Card valued at $1,000.
    • Winners will be notified by email.
    • Entrants agree to the publication of their ticket number, suburb, state and postcode in the event of a winning ticket when referring to winners in public forums, including on social media.
  5. General Conditions
    a) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and eligibility of participants.
    b) Referrers or Referred Friends who provide false information, misuse referral links, or otherwise breach these Terms may be disqualified.
    c) Entries are not transferable.
    d) The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
    e) Entrants agree to receive marketing information about products and services until you advise us otherwise. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

Prizes - General

  • All Prize suppliers nominated by Deaf Lottery.
  • All Prizes supplied subject to availability of suppliers’ stock. Where prizes are unavailable, a substitute prize of equivalent value will be offered, subject to regulatory approval.
  • Photographs and props are for illustration purposes only and do not necessarily depict exact Prize detail.
  • All Prizes are valued at manufacturers/suppliers recommended retail (list) price including GST.
  • Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • Where Prizes are Cash or Gift Card, Victorian residents receive a Woolworths WISH Gift Card for Prizes under $5,000, and Gold Bullion for Prizes worth $5,000 and over.
  • Where a prize is described as a “Gift Card” it will be delivered as an electronic gift card to the email address on record or it may be delivered via SMS to the mobile phone number on record. If an email or mobile number is not on record and/or cannot be obtained a Woolworths WISH gift card will be issued.
  • All Gift Cards accepted at merchants’ discretion.
  • Gold Bullion valued at purchase price on the date of purchase - selling costs and market fluctuations apply.
  • Winning ticket numbers and winners are validated against records held in our database and all draws are final.
  • Where Deaf Connect is unable contact a winner or any prize remains unclaimed, the requirements of the applicable state/territory legislation will be followed. State/territory requirements at time of permit approval is as follows:
  • • Australian Capital Territory: All prizes in the lottery must be distributed or allocated as approved. If a prize is not claimed within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature of the prize, the person conducting the promotion must draw another winning ticket or entry. For Deaf Lottery 227, should a redraw be necessary it will be conducted on Friday 05/02/27 at Deaf Connect, Level 5/88 Tribune Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101 at 10am by means of approved random number generator.
  • • Victoria: If a winner does not claim a prize in a raffle and the person who conducted the raffle cannot, after reasonable efforts to do so, find a winner of the prize the community or charitable organisation to benefit from the raffle must ensure that the prize is retained for 12 months after the draw or, if the prize is livestock or property of a perishable nature, may sell the prize in a way that brings a reasonable price and retain the proceeds (after deducting the reasonable costs of the sale) for 12 months after the draw. If a prize or proceeds of the sale of a prize retained under sub-regulation remain unclaimed after a period of 12 months after the draw of the raffle, the community or charitable organisation must sell or otherwise dispose of the prize if this has not already been done and must pay the proceeds (after deducting the reasonable costs of the sale or disposal) to the Treasurer for payment into the Consolidated Fund. For all other locations, including Queensland, the Queensland requirements will be followed.
  • • Queensland: Until the prize is given to the winner, the person conducting the game must keep it for the winner as described here. Where the prize is not claimed within at least 1 year, the association that conducted the game may apply the prize or its sale proceeds to the association's purposes. However, this does not affect a person's right to claim a prize during the period for claiming a prize, which is 3 years from the day the prize winner is decided.

Agents

There is an agreement with TMS GLOBAL SERVICES Pty Ltd (ACN 089 771 835) and Adflex Marketing Pty Ltd (ACN 620 652 271) to promote, sell tickets or conduct this raffle for reward; and in Australia excluding Victoria: Carmalt Fundraising (ABN 65 143 648 125); Trish Carney Art Union Pty Ltd (ACN 625 686 973).

Refund Policy

Deaf Lottery is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with all tickets purchased in our Lotteries. Tickets in the current Lottery may be returned and cancelled before the close of the Lottery for a full refund of the ticket price. All tickets not returned by the closing date will be valid for the Draw and therefore able to win a prize so cannot be refunded. Deaf Lottery may at its discretion and on a case-by-case basis, refund after the Lottery has been drawn.

SSL encryption is the industry standard and is the same encryption technology used by banks.
